Terms

• You must pay at time of booking, unless stated otherwise.
• Ferðafélag Íslands reserves the right to charge a 15% cancellation fee.
• Prices are generally expressed in two ways: for registered members of FÍ and those who are not. FÍ reserves the right to the following action when membership price has been used during ordering by those that are not registered members: A) Cancel the relevant booking without notice and repay according to the cancellation policy below. B) Charge the annual membership fee or the difference between the general price and membership price.
• Ferðafélag Íslands does not operates buses or ferries but instead cooperates with authorized operators of such services.

 Cancellation policy 

• Cancellation 56 days or more before the arrival date: 75% refund of the accommodation fee.
• Cancellation 55–21 days before the arrival date: 50% refund of the accommodation fee.
• Cancellation 20–0 days before the arrival date: No refund of the accommodation fee.
• No refunds are issued due to weather conditions, natural events, delays, or if the guest does not show up.
• Package Tours - Multi-day packages must be cancelled in full. Individual nights cannot be cancelled or refunded separately.

Day trips

• 7 days or more before the date of: 85% refund.

• 6-3 days before date: 50% refund.

• 2-0 days before the date: 0% refund.

Hiking Trips

• Cancellation after the program has started: No refund.

 Insurance

• Ferðafélag Íslands does not insure its passengers nor their luggage. Passengers traveling with Ferðafélag Íslands are at their own risk. Ferðafélag Íslands encourages people to buy a travel and accident insurance.
