Hikers are strongly advised to book huts and campsites in a north-to-south order (Landmannalaugar-Þórsmörk), as this enhances the overall experience and supports effective visitor flow on the trail.

Kitchen / Grill / Toilet / Warden / SHOWER / WATER
  1. Accommodations
    -Adults (18 years and older): ISK 17,000
    -Teens & children (7-17 years): ISK 8,500
    -Children (6 years and younger): Free
  2. Facilities fee: ISK 700
    If facilities at the FÍ cabin are used, such as toilets, a picnic area or a barbecue, without staying overnight, a facilities fee must be paid. The facilities fee is included in the accommodation fee for cabins and tents. Other guests who visit during the day or part of the day and use the facilities must pay a facilities fee.
    This does not apply to Landmannalaugar, where the facilities fee is included in the parking fee that Parka charges during the summer.
  3. Shower fee: ISK 1,100
    Shower fees are not included in the accommodation or facility fee
  4. Booking more accommodations
    Each booking can not exceed 6 guests. To book for more then please make a second booking.

 

  • Cancellation 56 days or more before the arrival date: 75% refund of the accommodation fee.
  • Cancellation 55–21 days before the arrival date: 50% refund of the accommodation fee.
  • Cancellation 20–0 days before the arrival date: No refund of the accommodation fee.
  • No refunds are issued due to weather conditions, natural events, delays, or if the guest does not show up.
  • Package Tours - Multi-day packages must be cancelled in full. Individual nights cannot be cancelled or refunded separately.

    Click on Book Now to confirm your choice. Your booking will be placed in your cart and you will be taken directly to checkout. You can either pay or add more to your cart. Your booking will have a 15 min. reservation lock.
  5. Reservation Lock
    Unpaid bookings are reserved for 15 minutes. After the reservation lock expires the slots you booked will be available to others so make sure to finalize the order before that time.
